All the Sinners Bleed: Nicole Beharie Joins Sọpẹ́ Dìrísù in Netflix Adaptation
Nicole Beharie has been cast to star alongside Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù and John Douglas Thompson in the upcoming Netflix series All the Sinners Bleed.
Joe Robert Cole, who co-wrote Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is adapting the book for the screen and will serve as both executive producer and showrunner. The series is being produced by Higher Ground Productions, founded by the Obamas, in collaboration with Amblin Television and Crosby. Cole is returning to Netflix, where he made his directorial debut with the film All Day and a Night, featuring Ashton Sanders and Jeffrey Wright, and he will also direct several episodes of this new series.
The input is generally clear and coherent, but it could benefit from slight rephrasing for improved flow and clarity. Here’s a revised version:
"Based on the book of the same name by S.A. Crosby, this murder mystery thriller offers commentary on racial and religious themes. According to Netflix’s Tudum, the upcoming nine-episode adaptation is set in the American South and follows small-town sheriff Titus Crown, portrayed by Dìrísù, as he attempts to apprehend a murderer who believes they are on a divine mission."
Beharie will portray Darlene Taylor, the girlfriend of Dìrísù’s character, Sheriff Titus Crown.
Currently, she is starring in Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, where she has received praise for her role as Christina Hunter. The series has already been renewed for a fifth season. Meanwhile, Dìrísù is featured in Netflix’s Black Rabbit, and Thompson appears in the A24/Apple film Highest 2 Lowest as well as HBO’s The Gilded Age.
