Tyler Perry’s Finding Shannon Thornton portrays Joy, a New York fashion designer whose boss frequently overlooks her talents. Like her career, Joy has also faced challenges in her love life. Encouraged by her loyal friends Ashley (Brittany S. Hall) and Littia (Inayah), Joy decides to follow her crush, Colton (Aaron O'Connell), to Colorado in search of holiday magic. However, instead of a fairytale ending, a shocking revelation and an unexpected snowstorm leave her stranded. At her lowest point, Joy encounters Ridge (Tosin Morohunfola), a chance meeting that changes her outlook on both life and love.
