Bradley Cooper’s new film “Is This Thing On”

The first trailer for Is This Thing On? showcases Will Arnett as he explores the world of stand-up comedy while dealing with family drama. This film, directed by Bradley Cooper, also features Cooper, Andra Day, and Laura Dern.

In the trailer from Searchlight Pictures, Arnett’s character, Alex, steps in front of an eager audience to share what he describes as “funny stories from my life.” These stories serve as poignant reflections on his declining relationship with his wife, Tess (Dern).

The premise of the film is-

As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex (Will Arnett) faces middle age and an impending divorce, seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene while Tess (Laura Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for their family—forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form.

The film also features performances by Cooper, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, and Scott Icenogle.

Arnett also serves as a co-writer alongside Cooper and Mark Chappell, as well as a producer alongside Weston Middleton and Kris Thykier.
