WHAT COMES NEXT
Oscar preliminary voting runs Dec. 7-11, and shortlists arrive Dec. 15.
For eligibility, a feature needs a qualifying theatrical release between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2026. Late-December qualifying runs remain the last open door for this year's contenders.
