Renowed cheorgrapher Dave Scott dead at 52

At the age of 52, Dave Scott, a renowned choreographer, passed away on Monday, June 16. He was most renowned for his contributions to So You Think You Can Dance (from season three onward), You Got Served, Stomp The Yard, Step Up 2: The Streets, and season eight of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

His family confirmed the tragic news on his official Instagram account. "We share the passing of our beloved Dave Scott with heavy hearts, as he touched so many lives with his warmth, kindness, and spirit."

The cause of death was not disclosed.

It continued, “During this difficult time we are doing our best to honor his memory in the way he deserves with love, dignity and respect. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to contribute towards memorial arrangements and helping us celebrate Dave Scott’s life in a meaningful way, with a celebration of life.”
