The Interview Highlights: Priah Ferguson on ST5
During our chat, Ferguson reflected on her journey from recurring character in Season 2 to a core part of the main cast.
On the "Bittersweet" Goodbye
"It's so surreal," Ferguson shared. "Filming the final scenes was incredibly emotional for everyone. We really are a family, and saying goodbye to the characters and the crew was tough, but I think the fans are going to be really satisfied with how we wrap things up."
Erica Sinclair's Role in the Finale
When asked about Erica's arc in the final battle against Vecna, Ferguson teased a more significant, action-oriented role for the quick-witted character.
"Erica definitely steps up," she hinted with a smile. "She's not just there with the one-liners this time. She's in the thick of it, a crucial part of the team trying to save Hawkins. She might even be a little less of a 'nerd' and more of a hero this season!"
Memorable Moments from the Final Season
Ferguson highlighted the final "Dungeons & Dragons" sequence as one of her favorite moments to film, praising the way the Duffer Brothers brought everything full circle. She also spoke about working closely with co-stars Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), acknowledging their shared history.
