Gavin Newsom Proposes Expanding California's Film and TV Tax Credit to at Least $1 Billion

Gov. Gavin Newsom proposed expanding California’s film and TV tax credit program to at least $1 billion a year, with a $100 million pool for independent productions. The plan would extend the credit through 2040.
