The Ultimate Throwback: Love Island Games Season 2 Cast Includes Alums from the U.S., U.K., and Beyond

The initial ensemble for the eagerly anticipated Love Island Games Season 2 on Peacock has been disclosed. The Love Island franchise spinoff on Peacock will unite single alums from throughout the world. The initial round features celebrities from the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Malta, Belgium, and the Netherlands. For this season, Ariana Madix assumes the hosting responsibilities from Maya Jama, while Maura Higgins will serve as the social media ambassador for Love Island Aftersun on a weekly basis. Iain Stirling resurfaces as the narrator.

Here’s the premise:

Set in Fiji, Peacock’s Love Island Games brings together fan-favorite Islanders from various Love Island series across the globe – USA, UK and beyond – for a second shot at love. They will compete in a brand-new format to be crowned champions of Love Island Games. In this cheeky iteration, romance will meet reality as the Islanders are faced with both team and couples’ challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling, dramatic arrivals, and new competition twists and turns that help control the game like never before. Ariana Madix will host the new Original series alongside UK comedian Iain Stirling, who reprises his role as narrator. 

The cast includes: Andrea Carmona (Season 6, USA), Andreina Santos (Season 7, USA), Charlie Georgiou (Season 7, USA), Christopher Seeley (Season 7, USA), Garbi Denteh (Season 4, BE/NL), Isaiah Campbell (Season 4, USA), Josh Goldstein (Season 3, USA), Kay Kay Gray (Season 5, USA), Kendall Washington (Season 6, USA), Lucinda Strafford (Season 7, UK & Season 5, AUS), Mert Okatan (Season 2 and Season 3, BE/NL), Nicola Gauci Borda-Warr (Season 1, MT), Solène Favreau (Season 2, FR), and Tyrique Hyde (Season 10, UK).

Additionally, there will be modifications to the format for the forthcoming season. Peacock observes that "viewers will have the opportunity to observe their preferred international Islanders in real time, in a manner similar to Love Island USA." This implies that they will also have the opportunity to vote for their preferred couples through the Love Island USA app, which will determine which Islanders will reunite, which will remain in the villa, and which will be sent home devastated.

The two-hour premiere of the season is scheduled for September 16. During the premiere week, episodes are broadcast on a daily basis. Subsequently, they will be broadcast on Thursdays through Tuesdays.
