'9-1-1: Nashville' casts Hailey Kilgore, Juani Feliz, and two more to star
9-1-1: Nashville, ABC's upcoming spinoff of 9-1-1, has expanded its roster with the addition of Hailey Kilgore from Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Juani Feliz from Harlem.
Kilgore, Feliz, Michael Provost, and Hunter McVey have been added to the roster, joining previously announced cast members Chris O'Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
Though the program has not been revealed to include a musical aspect, as Deadline points out, both Rimes and Kilgore are singers with musical backgrounds. Given the show's setting in Nashville, there could be a purpose for casting country music sensation Rimes and Tony and Grammy Award nominee Kilgore.
The logline states that the show is “a high-octane procedural about our heroic first responders, as well as their family saga of power and glamour set in one of America’s most diverse and dynamic cities.”
Taylor, the role played by Kilgore, is "a firefighter and incredible singer." Ryan is the provost, "a modern-day cowboy and firefighter."
Feliz is Cammi, an adrenaline addict and former trauma surgeon. " McVey portrays Blue, "a haunted bad boy, now a firefighter."
20th Television is the studio, and the series is created in collaboration with Ryan Murphy Television, with Murphy, Tim Minear, and Rashad Raisani writing and executive producing. Raisani is the showrunner. Chris O'Donnell, Brad Buecker, Brad Falchuk, and Angela Bassett are also executive producers.
The show will hit the airwaves during the 25-26 season.
