Annette Benning joins Yellowstone Spinoff
The five-time Oscar nominee joins franchise veterans Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Finn Little, who are set to reprise their roles as Beth Dutton, Rip Wheeler, and Carter, respectively.
Bening will portray Beulah Jackson, described as “the powerful, cunning, and charming head of a major ranch in Texas.”
The offshoot, which has enlisted Chad Feehan (Lawmen: Bass Reeves) as showrunner, picks up after the events of Yellowstone Season 5. In this continuation, “Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are grateful for the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died to protect with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch,” according to the official logline.
“With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”
The Dutton Ranch is one of several offshoots of the Yellowstone franchise currently in development. On Paramount+, it is accompanied by 1944, which continues the stories from 1883 and 1923, as well as The Madison, featuring Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, and Patrick J. Adams. Additionally, CBS will host Y: Marshals, starring Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, set to premiere in early 2026.
