Cross Season 2 Teaser: Alex Hunts a Ruthless Vigilante on Prime Video
Cross is back on the case: Season 2 of the Prime Video crime drama will premiere on Tuesday, February 11, with the first three episodes available to stream, followed by new episodes released weekly until the finale on March 18. Prime Video announced this exciting news during the show's panel at New York Comic Con on Thursday.
Additionally, the streamer shared a tense teaser for the upcoming season, featuring Aldis Hodge as D.C. detective Alex Cross, who asserts, “This begins and ends with me.” The teaser also introduces new cast member Matthew Lillard, as Cross receives a chilling warning: “If anyone hears about this, you’re done.” Furthermore, Cross encounters what appears to be a bizarre cult, with a woman cryptically stating, “We know everything about you.” In Season 2, Cross is “in pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates,” according to the official synopsis.
Based on James Patterson’s bestselling Alex Cross book series, Cross stars Hodge, who also serves as an executive producer, in the title role. Returning for Season 2 are Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill. They are joined by new cast members Lillard from Good Girls, Jeanine Mason from Roswell, New Mexico, and Wes Chatham from The Expanse.
Debuting in November 2024, Cross became Prime Video’s third most-watched original series within its first 20 days, attracting over 40 million viewers globally. Ben Watkins is the writer and showrunner.
