Denzel Washington, Robert Pattinson & Daisy Edgar-Jones collide in Netflix's heist thriller Here Comes the Flood

Here Comes the Flood is an upcoming Netflix heist thriller starring Denzel Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Daisy Edgar-Jones. The film is directed by Fernando Meirelles (City of God, The Two Popes) and is written by Simon Kinberg (Mr. & Mrs. Smith). 

Described as an "elevated, character-driven love-story heist movie," the story revolves around a bank guard, a teller, and a master thief who become entangled in a deadly game of cons and double crosses. An Iraqi war veteran (Denzel Washington) takes a job as a bank guard. An international thief (Robert Pattinson) approaches the veteran to orchestrate a heist at the bank.

The veteran is secretly in love with one of the bank employees (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and conspires with her to set up the thief, take the money, and leave the thief to take the blame.

The film is expected to feature a non-linear narrative, with the heist unfolding in increments and the twists and turns keeping viewers guessing.
