Euphoria Season 3 First Look: Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney & More Return in Shocking Time Jump Photos

The wait is finally over! HBO has dropped the official first-look photos and new footage for the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria, confirming a massive time jump and teasing dramatic new storylines for our favorite East Highland crew. The series is set to return in April 2026.

Adulthood Awaits in Season 3

Creator Sam Levinson confirmed that Season 3 will jump approximately five years into the future, moving the characters out of high school and into young adulthood. Zendaya's voiceover in the teaser footage aptly states, "A few years after high school, I don't know if life was exactly what I wished".

Character Updates & Plot Teasers

The first-look images, shared by HBO's social media channels, reveal the new realities for the core cast:

  • Rue Bennett (Zendaya): Rue is in Mexico, deep in debt to Laurie (Martha Kelly), trying to "come up with some very innovative ways to pay it off". One photo shows her looking contemplative in what appears to be a church pew.

  • Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney) & Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi): In a surprising twist, Cassie and Nate are engaged and living in the suburbs. Nate is seen in a kitchen with raw meat, while Cassie appears addicted to social media, envious of her classmates' seemingly perfect lives. Sam Levinson has teased a potential "unforgettable night" wedding event.

Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie): Maddy has moved to Hollywood and is working at a talent agency for a manager.

  • Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow): Lexi also finds herself in Hollywood, working as an assistant to a showrunner played by new cast member Sharon Stone.

  • Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer): Jules is pursuing her passion at art school.

Cast Changes and New Faces

The main cast is confirmed to return, including Eric Dane (Cal Jacobs) and Colman Domingo (Ali).

  • Farewells: The season will address the tragic passing of Angus Cloud (Fezco) and will not feature the return of Barbie Ferreira (Kat Hernandez) or Storm Reid (Gia Bennett).

  • New Additions: An impressive list of new talent joins the ensemble, including Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, and musicians Rosalía and Marshawn Lynch.

The third season of Euphoria promises to be a dramatic look at the characters' lives as they face the complexities of adulthood. Keep an eye on the official HBO website for more updates ahead of the April 2026 premiere.
