First Look: HBO Drops New Photos & Teaser for House of the Dragon Season 3

What to Expect in Season 3

The new footage, part of HBO's 2026 programming sizzle reel, promises a season of high stakes and major conflict. Season 3 is expected to cover significant events from George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood novel, including the highly anticipated "Battle of the Gullet". Showrunner Ryan Condal has promised that the scale of the action will surpass previous seasons, with two "enormous" battle sequences planned.
