"Euphoria" Season 3 Sets Premiere Date for April 2026 on HBO
The long-awaited third season of the hit HBO drama Euphoria
is finally on its way. HBO has officially announced that the new season will premiere in April 2026, over four years after the conclusion of Season 2 in February 2022.
The network shared the news alongside the first promotional poster featuring star Zendaya as Rue Bennett, with the simple caption: "Let's ride. April 2026. #Euphoria"
A Five-Year Time Jump
Season 3 wrapped production in November 2025 after a lengthy delay due to industry strikes and the passing of cast member Angus Cloud (Fezco). The new season is expected to feature a significant five-year time jump, moving the characters out of high school and into adulthood.
Creator Sam Levinson mentioned that the time jump feels like a "natural place" for the story to continue the characters' evolution. Early teasers have hinted at significant life changes, including a plot twist that Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) do in fact get married.
Returning and New Cast Members
Most of the original main cast is set to return for the final season, including:
Zendaya as Rue Bennett
Hunter Schafer as Jules Vaughn
Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs
Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard
Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez
Maude Apatow as Lexi Howard
Colman Domingo will return as a guest star, and there is a massive influx of new talent joining the show, including appearances by Sharon Stone, singer Rosalía, and former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.
Euphoria Season 3 will air on HBO and stream on Max, with the exact April 2026 premiere date to be confirmed soon.
