'Love, Brooklyn' Teaser: Romantic Drama Starring André Holland, Nicole Beharie, and DeWanda Wise
André Holland, Nicole Beharie, and DeWanda Wise are navigating their complicated relationships in the trailer for the upcoming romantic drama Love, Brooklyn.
The film features Holland and Beharie as exes who maintain contact, complicating Holland's character's new relationship.
According to the official synopsis:
A writer, portrayed by André Holland, navigates complex relationships with his ex, an art gallery owner played by Nicole Beharie, and his current lover, a newly single mother portrayed by DeWanda Wise. He receives support from his best friend, Roy Wood Jr.
The film also features performances by Cassandra Freeman and Cadence Reese.
Holland serves as a producer alongside Kate Sharp, Patrick Wengler, Maurice Anderson, and Liza Zusman. Steven Soderbergh serves as an executive producer, working with Jeffrey Deary, Andy Steinman, Brian Katz, Thomas Zambeck, Alexander Leff, and Rachael Abigail Holder.
The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year before being acquired by Greenwich Entertainment.
"Love, Brooklyn" will have its exclusive opening at the Angelika Film Center in New York on August 29, followed by a nationwide release on September 5.
