Rio is back in the crime business, and this time he is in Sylvester Stallone's way.
Manny Montana, who played Rio on NBC's Good Girls, has joined Season 5 of Paramount+'s Tulsa King in a recurring role, Deadline reported.
Montana will play Gilberto Torres, a gangster with a strong presence who never has to advertise it. Through his street network, nothing happens in New York without him knowing.
That matters this season. Tulsa King Season 5 moves production from Atlanta to New York, sending Stallone's Dwight "The General" Manfredi back to the city where his mob story began. Filming is underway.
Montana's recent credits include Marvel's Ironheart, plus Mayans M.C., Westworld and Graceland. On film, he appeared in Clint Eastwood's The Mule and Michael Mann's Blackhat.
He joins a growing Season 5 cast. Scarlet Rose Stallone, who has played Spencer since the first season, has been promoted to series regular, and Erik Palladino, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Skordi and Nickola Shreli join as series regulars.
Paramount+ renewed the Taylor Sheridan series for a fifth season in October, ahead of the Season 4 premiere on Oct. 16. Season 5 does not have a premiere date yet.
