Michael B. Jordan Steals the Spotlight in New 'Thomas Crown Affair' Tease

The Thomas Crown Affair is getting a new face — and this time, it's the one behind the camera too. Amazon MGM Studios dropped the first teaser trailer for Michael B. Jordan's reimagining of the classic heist thriller, with the Oscar winner directing and starring opposite Adria Arjona in the story of a globetrotting gentleman thief and the investigator hunting him heist by heist. Jordan calls it less a remake than a re-imagination — a passion project he's "been wanting to make for a really long time." Joining him is a stacked ensemble including Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, Ruth Negga, Aubrey Plaza, and Kenneth Branagh, with a car-race showdown between Jordan and Branagh already teased in the footage. The film — Jordan's first since his Best Actor win for Sinners — opens in theaters March 5, 2027.
