Tiana’s next chapter is moving forward. Disney Animation chief Jared Bush says a new The Princess and the Frog special is in active production, featuring returning original cast members and new songs.
Speaking with Collider at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Bush described the project as a full story with musical numbers. The Disney+ special follows the cancellation of the previously announced Tiana series.
Disney has not announced a release date or detailed which cast members will return. For fans waiting to see Tiana back on screen, the update confirms that another adventure is taking shape.
