Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie are heading back into London's criminal underworld.
Netflix announced Tuesday, November 3, that the actor and filmmaker will reunite for Dogfight, a new revenge action thriller written, directed and produced by Ritchie. Production is scheduled to begin in the United Kingdom in early 2027.
The project marks their seventh film collaboration, continuing a partnership that helped launch Statham's acting career nearly three decades ago.
Their working relationship began with Ritchie's 1998 crime comedy Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which introduced Statham to movie audiences. They reunited for Snatch (2000), Revolver (2005), Wrath of Man (2021) and Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023).
The pair also recently completed filming Viva La Madness, another crime thriller currently awaiting release.
While Netflix has not revealed specific plot details for Dogfight, the film will return the collaborators to familiar territory: London's criminal underworld, where their distinctive blend of violence, dark humor and complicated criminal characters first attracted international attention.
Statham will also produce through his Punch Palace company, alongside Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg. Black Bear and Ritchie's Toff Guy Films are also involved in the production.
The project further expands Ritchie's relationship with Netflix, which already distributes his crime series The Gentlemen.
For audiences familiar with the duo's earlier films, Dogfight represents another opportunity to revisit the British crime genre that established their reputations.
The announcement also reflects Netflix's continued investment in established action stars and recognizable filmmaker partnerships.
Additional casting, a release date and further story details have not been announced.
