The Jennifer Hudson Show Renewed for Fifth Season — Will Air Through 2027
LOS ANGELES — The Jennifer Hudson Show, the popular daytime talk program hosted by Oscar-winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson, has been officially renewed for a fifth season, keeping the series on the air through the 2026–27 television season.
The renewal announcement came from producers Telepictures and Fox Television Stations, underscoring continued confidence in the show’s performance amid a shifting daytime TV landscape.
“I could not be more honored to continue this journey alongside a phenomenal group of brilliant producers, dedicated crew, and collaborative partners,” Hudson said in a statement released alongside the renewal news. “It is such a joy to connect with people in meaningful ways every day across this country and to share stories of heart and inspiration, all while bringing entertainment into people’s lives. None of this would be possible without our incredible audience.”
Since its debut in 2022, The Jennifer Hudson Show has stood out for its mix of celebrity interviews, live musical performances, uplifting moments, and viral segments — including the spirited “Spirit Tunnel” pre-show tradition.
The renewal arrives at a time when several other daytime talk shows have recently ended, with The Kelly Clarkson Show concluding after seven seasons and Sherri ending after four. Hudson’s series now remains one of the few traditional syndicated talk programs continuing on the weekday lineup.
Executive leaders behind the show praised Hudson’s “positivity, heart, and generosity of spirit” as key drivers of its success and appeal to viewers across the country.
Season five of The Jennifer Hudson Show is expected to debut later this year, promising more engaging conversations, entertainment, and moments that resonate with fans.
