‘Y: Marshals’ casts ‘Yellowstone’ Trio, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, Brett Cullen, Tatanka Means.
The Yellowstone spinoff series Y: Marshals has finalized its main cast, with three additional actors from Taylor Sheridan’s original series joining Luke Grimes as series regulars: Gil Birmingham, Brecken Merrill, and Mo Brings Plenty.
Furthermore, Arielle Kebbel (Rescue: HI-Surf), Ash Santos (Pulse), and Tatanka Means (Reservation Dogs) have been added as series regulars, while Brett Cullen will appear in a recurring role. They will join Grimes and previously announced lead Logan Marshall-Green.
In Y: Marshals, after leaving the Yellowstone Ranch behind, Kayce Dutton (played by Grimes) becomes part of an elite unit of U.S. Marshals. He uses his skills as both a cowboy and a Navy SEAL to deliver justice in Montana. As he and his teammates work to maintain a balance between family and duty, they also face the significant psychological toll of being the last line of defense in the region's fight against violence.
Merrill will reprise his role as Kayce’s son, Tate Dutton, with Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty reprising their Yellowstone characters as Thomas Rainwater and Mo, respectively.
Kebbel, Santos, and Means will play Belle, Andrea, and Miles, respectively—all members of the U.S. Marshals. Cullen portrays Harry Gifford, the head of the U.S. Marshals in Montana.
The series is produced by Paramount TV Studios, with Sheridan serving as executive producer alongside David C. Glasser, who is also executive producing for 101 Studios. Additionally, Hudnut acts as showrunner, with Grimes, Yaitanes, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox contributing as producers. "Y: Marshals" will be distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
Kebbel, who most recently starred in Fox's "Rescue: HI-Surf," is set to appear in "I Can Only Imagine 2," scheduled for release in 2026. She is represented by Independent Artists Group, Untitled Entertainment, and Hansen Jacobson Teller.
Santos recently completed work on Netflix's medical drama "Pulse" and has a recurring role in the Taylor Sheridan universe on "Mayor of Kingstown." She is represented by M88, Gersh, and Myman Greenspan Fox.
