Druski's first night hosting Saturday Night Live ended with two comedy heavyweights walking onto the stage. Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle surprised the comedian during the show's goodnights on Nov. 7, TheWrap reported.
Druski reacted with an "Oh my God!" as the pair joined him, and Chappelle arrived with a cigarette in hand. Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler were also spotted in the background of the crowded stage, though neither appeared in a sketch. The two are currently filming Miami Vice '85, which also stars Walton Goggins, according to TheWrap.
A packed night for a history-making host
The episode carried weight before the final minutes. Druski became the first content creator to host SNL in the show's 51-season history, a milestone Cup of Soul covered when he made his hosting debut. Emma Stone dropped into his monologue, Texas senator-elect James Talarico crashed the cold open, and Goggins danced during The Strokes' performance of their single "Going Shopping."
Druski also appeared in several sketches, including a parody of You Can See Everything in which he played Elizabeth Holmes.
Rock and Chappelle's walk-on added another layer to the night. Chappelle has hosted SNL twice himself, both times in the immediate aftermath of Donald Trump's presidential wins, TheWrap noted. For Druski, who built his audience online before landing a streaming deal alongside Mike Epps, sharing the stage with two of the biggest names in Black stand-up was a fitting close to a landmark episode.
NBC's official SNL account thanked Druski, The Strokes, Talarico, Stone and Goggins after the broadcast.
