We won't have to wait long to see the new episodes. The third season is set to premiere in 2026. “We’ve got many things to do,” says showrunner and executive producer Melanie Halsall in an interview with Tudum.
While filming Season 1, Halsall expressed to Tudum her optimism for the series' long-term success. “I definitely still believe that,” she tells Tudum. “I love the teenage stories and what we do with those characters. But I think we have a lot of potential to tell stories that are intergenerational. I’d love to be able to do more of that in Season 3.”
Inspired by Ali Novak's popular Wattpad novel, My Life with the Walter Boys Season 1 achieved significant global success, spending eight weeks on Netflix’s Global English Top 10 TV list and reaching the Top 10 in 88 countries. The first season introduces 15-year-old Jackie Howard (Rodriguez) as she moves from the vibrant setting of Manhattan to the quiet, rural town of Silver Falls, Colorado. There, she takes up residence with her new guardian, Katherine (Sarah Rafferty), who is her mother’s best friend and is raising ten children with her husband, George (Marc Blucas).
Navigating a new, somewhat chaotic countryside home, Jackie is resolute in her pursuit of attending Princeton. Her new life is further complicated by her burgeoning feelings for two distinct Walter brothers: Alex (Gentry), who is both dependable and studious, and Cole (LaLonde), who is enigmatic and troubled. The season culminates suspensefully, with Jackie heading to New York with her uncle Richard (Alex Quijano).
The cast for Season 2 includes Connor Stanhope as Danny, Johnny Link as Will, Corey Fogelmanis as Nathan, Jaylan Evans as Skylar, Zoë Soul as Haley, Isaac Arellanes as Isaac, Myles Perez as Lee, Ashley Tavares as Tara, Dean Petriw as Jordan, Alix West Lefler as Parker, Lennix James as Benny, Alisha Newton as Erin, Ellie O’Brien as Grace, Kolton Stewart as Dylan, Mya Lowe as Kiley, Gabrielle Jacinto as Olivia, Jesse Lipscombe as Coach Allen, and Nathaniel Arcand as Mato.
Ed Glauser and Becky Hartman Edwards serve as executive producers of My Life with the Walter Boys. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television International Production and iGeneration Studios, known for the Kissing Booth trilogy.
My Life with the Walter Boys returns for Season 2, premiering on August 28, exclusively on Netflix. Be sure to tune in!
