. The docuseries, executive-produced by Combs' longtime rival Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, offers an unflinching examination of the music mogul's rise to fame, the empire he built, and his dramatic downfall amid serious allegations and a criminal conviction. 

The Reckoning Arrives on Netflix 

Sean Combs: The Reckoning will be available to stream globally on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. The series promises "explosive, never-before-seen materials" and exclusive interviews with those formerly in Combs' inner orbit, offering new insights into the decades of influence he wielded over pop culture and the darker aspects that lay beneath the surface. 

The documentary arrives just months after Combs was convicted in July on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and began serving a 50-month prison sentence.

The project has generated significant buzz due to the involvement of Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson as executive producer, leveraging their decades-long public feud. 

Emmy Award-winning director Alexandria Stapleton leads the series, which aims to be more than just a celebrity scandal piece. Stapleton noted the documentary is "a mirror [reflecting us] as the public, and what we are saying when we put our celebrities on such a high pedestal". All proceeds from the series will reportedly be donated to organizations supporting survivors of sexual assault. 

What to Expect

The recently released trailer includes footage reportedly filmed just six days before Combs' arrest, showing him in a hotel room saying, "We're losing!".
