Season 27 of "Law & Order: SVU" Star Aimé Donna Kelly gets elevated to Series Regular
Law & Order: SVU has recently announced a significant promotion in anticipation of its impending 27th season.
Aimé Donna Kelly, who has served as Captain Renee Curry on several occasions since 2020, has been promoted to series regular for the forthcoming season. Kelly's Curry was initially introduced during her tenure with IAB. Subsequently, she became a member of Captain Olivia Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) team at the Special Victims Unit.
Kelly's promotion was initially disclosed by Deadline. Kelly has appeared in 29 episodes of the program over the course of the last five seasons.
She is joined by the returning Hargitay and Ice-T, as well as Peter Scanavino, Kevin Kane, and Kelli Giddish, who is making her series regular debut for the first time since Season 24. Juliana Aidén Martinez and Octavio Pisano were terminated following the conclusion of Season 26.
Aimé Additionally, Donna Kelly will be featured in a forthcoming Prime Video series.
Kelly is also set to appear in the upcoming Muhammad Ali series, The Greatest, on Prime Video. In the series, she will portray the civil rights icon Alberta Jones.
