After nearly a decade since the last installment, the world of thieving illusionists returns to the big screen with

Now You See Me: Now You Don't

. Released today, November 14, 2025, this highly anticipated third chapter in the franchise promises bigger illusions, clever twists, and a fresh blend of returning stars and new faces. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the film aims to deliver exactly what fans of the first two movies love: spectacular magic and high-stakes heists.

The Plot: A Diamond Heist and a Corrupt Heiress

The Four Horsemen—J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), and Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher)—reunite for their most ambitious and global mission yet. This time, they team up with a new generation of three talented young illusionists to expose the corruption of Veronika Vanderberg (Rosamund Pike), a powerful diamond heiress who launders money for warlords and traffickers.

Their target is the "world's largest 'queen diamond'", and the mission is a race against time and a cunning adversary. The film moves away from some of the CGI-heavy effects of the previous movies, focusing instead on old-fashioned, practical magic tricks and physical stunts, including cardistry, a hall of mirrors, and an escape from a sand-filled chamber

The returning core cast members are joined by an exciting array of new talent:

  • Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco return as the original Four Horsemen.

  • Mark Ruffalo also returns as Dylan Rhodes, the FBI agent who was secretly a Horseman accomplice.

  • Morgan Freeman is back as the legendary magician-turned-debunker, Thaddeus Bradley.

  • Newcomers Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt portray the next generation of illusionists.

  • Rosamund Pike plays the new primary antagonist, the calculating Veronika Vanderberg.
